Give a Kid a Flag Day

Give a Kid a Flag Day is one of the National Exchange Club’s Americanism projects aimed at promoting patriotism and respect for the American flag. During this event, Exchange Club members distribute small American flags to children at parades, fairs, picnics, school events, and other community gatherings.

The goal is to instill a sense of pride and appreciation for the flag and the freedoms it represents.

This initiative is part of the broader Americanism programs of the National Exchange Club, which were established in the aftermath of World War II to celebrate and promote the values of democracy and patriotism

By giving children their own flags, the program helps to cultivate a deeper understanding and admiration for the nation’s symbols and heritage
